EMS
Our emergency medical technicians play a vital role in our Department. Every year the Department sees a rise in medical calls. To better serve the Town of Lee, 14 of the members of our department have become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Our Department has 9 EMT-Basics, 4 EMT-Intermediates, and 1 Paramedic. The Department's role is to provide first responder care. We work very closely with McGregor Memorial EMS (formerly known as Durham Ambulance Corps.) who staffs 2 advanced life support ambulances and provides emergency medical care and transport for the Town of Lee. McGregor Memorial EMS has 50 members made up of 7 Paramedics, 18 Intermediates, and 25 Basics. Bringing both Departments together means providing the highest possible standard of care for the people in our community. Both Departments now have full-time staff during the weekdays and call members available to help us insure response in a moments notice.

The Department has constructed a Health History Questionnaire to help us, help you. The purpose is to acquire vital medical information to better assist you with medical problems. Please fill out the questionnaire and place on your refrigerator in a visible area for us.
